Are you looking for a professional Celebrant for your Sydney Namegiving Ceremony?
A new bundle of joy in the family? What could be more precious!!
Name giving ceremonies have a history almost as old as mankind itself. A name giving ceremony is not a christening or an infant dedication, but instead it is a public recognition and statement by the family and friends that this child is precious and valuable, and is welcome and treasured in this family. The baby naming ceremony is an occasion for joy, hope, and acceptance, and is used to express our commitment, hopes, love and support for both the child and family. It is an occasion when a new birth is celebrated and a child welcomed into the world. Family relationships are deepened.
Symbolism, such as a Wishing Tree or Box, Naming Candle, Tree of Life, can be included. The ceremony celebrates your child’s arrival with family and friends, to honor your family story, and will become a vibrant part of your family history.
Godparents/Mentors and Grandparents
Most parents decide to go with the traditional idea of having Godparents (or Mentors) for their child, although there is no religious or binding legal implication contained in the ceremony. The important role played by Grandparents can be recognized, with the passing on of cultural values and helping children to understand their place within the family.
These ceremonies may be conducted at any venue - your home, a function centre, a park, a restaurant, or anywhere in the metropolitan area of Sydney.

“............. Thank you for being part of yet another Wong family celebration. It was so good to see you again and we couldn’t imagine having anyone else perform the naming for our darling daughter. This is probably the last baby, but then again you never know! And if so - we will call on you again. Love and best wishes .....”
